Just got back from this wild tour... King Rhythm and Jones really made the set into something tighter and different. I was very happy with the way the shows went down. As always, huge respect to all show-goers, record buyers, promoters and hosts that made this tour possible.
We recorded an EP for a digital label called snowghost while chilling in Whitefish, MT. The songs turned out real tight. The jams will be for sale on their site real soon.
The plan for April/May is to finally complete my next album, Baltimore Highlands. I've got a lot of tight cats helping me make it a reality, and I appreciate that. Peace.

Two crazy Baltimore shows are going down this month. You'd kind of be a doofus to miss either of them.
The first is an all-rap round robin with Jones, Bow, Plural, PT Burnem , Rasul The Nobody and AK Slaughter. It's popping off at the Current Gallery on July 7th.
The second is Whartscape 2007. I'm playing the daytime show at the Load of Fun house, with tons of awesome bands.
That's all the July news there is to report. Utility Fog 2 is coming next month, and September and October tour dates will be up semi-soon.

After the Winterize The Game tour, I hopped on tour with Grand Buffet for a week, to perform our collaboration joint off the new album. It was great.

Yes! I hope these holidays find you well. Here's my deal.
I played a gang of shows in the last few months, and I was amped on almost all of them. After seven years of touring around doing this rap thing, I'm finally starting to feel like I know what I'm doing. I feel like my shows are finally doing what I want them to do, instead of just getting the job done.
I shipped off the Winterize The Game album and artwork, and I'm happy to say that I'm about 80 percent done with the NEXT album. I've been waiting for years to find the right way to pick up some momentum, and I think I've cracked the code. It's crazy to say it, but it feels like this is the real beginning of this Height thing.
I'm not going to get into specifics, but I've made a lot of bad mistakes in this music game. Some awesome friendships/working relationships have ended in disaster. Some awesome releases have fizzled out. Somehow, your man has reached a point where I can chalk it all up to experience, and begin to truly steamroll the world.
One thing that has been a little corny, (in 2005) is that I just haven't played in my home zone of Baltimore that much. That's about to change and never change back. For a while, my mentality was that I didn't want to play until my album was ready. All that's cool, but in the future I want to be rocking the B no matter what's going on, just to rock it.
The new podcast will drop in December, not November. Excuse the delay. Please trust that we will be coming back strong in that realm... or don't, fuck it.

Utility Fog, my limited edition EP, is dropping August 20th. It's fire. You'll be able to cop it from this site. Winterize The Game,my new full-length, is finally, actually, really, seriously complete. I have no release date, but the wheels are turning fast. I put a new track from each release on the Height myspace page, or you can get many sneak peaks at www.height.libsyn.com
The tour with Werewolf Unit is shaping up real nice. Do not sleep. Jones is backing me up with these effects, and we are about to bomb it. I've never felt better prepared to hit the road. I put up the dates for the first half of the tour. It's an east coast/midwest thing.
My podcast, The Seven Song Smash, is about to be toast. Bow n' Arrow, the show's engineer, is calling it quits. I've just posted the second to last episode. After the last episode, (August 10th), I'm going to begin working on a new type of podcast. It's going to be a bit different. There will be interviews with other artists and in-depth insights into my own work, as opposed to just songs. It's going to take me a minute to get it rolling, but unlike The Seven Song Smash, it will have a regular schedule.
